The wallpaper arrived today for my participation in the 13 Colonies
Special Event from July1-7th. This was a great event and my first time
taking part in it, I am looking forward to next years event.
Many congratulations Mike. I really need to learn more about contests. Sadly, no one at my Radio Club participates in them. I'll have to research myself and get stuck in.
Good morning Tom, this was nice event over 7 days so when you had the time you could get on the air and see what event contacts you could find. Yes contesting is just one aspect of the hobby and it is unfortunate that no one at your local club takes part in them. As a side note I read your last post regarding the radio change up and the 7300 is a great rig. You are going to have to put some posts out there regarding the 9700! 73, Mike VE9KK
