Sorry to hear it Mike, it is always a pain to loose a pet. Just a tip: make a small photo album with pictures from Oliver so you remember. We always do that the past years. Once and a while I'll look at them and remember my good buddies. 73, Bas
John, Bas, Dick, Tom, Paul and VE3FI (Bill) Thanks for much for your messages, and they were very helpful. Julie and I have had a rough go of things, but time will heal. 73, Mike and Julie
What a beautiful red Persian. There is no better friend than a Persian cat and I've shared the pain of losing on of these wonderful little "people" as well. You obviously took wonderful care of him. Our thoughts are with you, Rick W3KQ.
Hello Rick, thanks very much for your kind words. Actually Oliver was what is called an Exotic Long hair which was a rare breed. Nowadays all you can find are the short hair exotic cats. But you are correct in referring to him as a Persian as he has 50% of that in his breed. Thanks again, Mike VE9KK
Mike, I'm so sorry. Been down the road your traveling. My wish for you is that you'll get to the point that when you think of Oliver, a smile will comer to your face. You'll get there, but it takes time, my friend. God bless.
Good morning Larry thanks for your encouraging words. He was a member of the family, on Saturday I entered the NAQP CW party contest and used Oliver as the op's name in his honour. I only made 22 contacts as I just would lose the sequence during a contact. Well he has 22 contacts with his name attached. 73 and again thanks for your words, Mike VE9KK
Hi Mike, I never realized until your comments there was an Exotic Long hair! As you shared, the short hair exotics are the ones I'm used to seeing. Thank you for the reply. My best to you and hope we can QSO one day in the future. Rick, W3KQ
