It's now official on paper with my new call sign for New Brunswick. Funny thing the other evening I was calling CQ (CW) and a few times I used my old call without evening noticing it. Old habits die hard I guess.....it's just going to take time to get the new call rolling off the key like the old one did.

Hello Mike, curious if you solved all the problems now since you did call CQ in CW? Have you made any nice contacts lately with your new antenna?
Nice certificate for your new call. It is so different from the Netherlands. We only get a official paper from the department of economical business and climate. Puzzled why amateurradio and telecom in general is part of that department? But that is how it works in our country. Anyway, I hope you will enjoy your new call. 73, Bas
Nice rhythm for CW! Congrats on the new call, Mike!

Good afternoon Bas, as for the issues I was having I seemed to have solved most. I have coming a 1:1 balun from balun designs on it's way, at the moment I am using a 15 foot piece of coax from my Chameleon Loop that has some RF chokes on it. It has done the trick in removing the RF issues I was having. So I did not want to tie up the this piece of coax as a permanent solution. It also is a bit short for what I need in the shack as well. I was calling CQ I was just checking to see the hits I was getting on RBN. The certificate is nice and we also get a nice wallet size card as well.
73 and thanks for taking the time to comment Bas it's always great to hear from you.

Good afternoon Larry, I spent some time online looking at the available 2 letter calls and seeing which would have a simple and easy to pick out rhythm to it. It's funny as you sound out in CW some of the 2 letter calls I could see how some calls would net me lots of agn agn or a misread call.
Larry have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.
