Good morning Tom, well there is no need to wish.....and there is no such thing as an old dog! What there is....good old technology. To get you started to see if you like the code there are many very good code readers out there that install on your PC and bring the dits and dahs to life. As for me, I was kinda forced into CW as where I was living when I used SSB I came all over the adjoining electronics. I found that CW was the only way to go if I wanted to stay on the air, so the learning started then. 73, Mike VE9KK
