Congratulations! That's an amazing achievement with QRPp and indoor antenna!
When I read your blog entry I remembered that I had to apply for one of these myself. I already have one on 20m and have now sent my application for another one on 15m.
Thank you all for your very kinds words...I was not wanting to toot my horn (well maybe just a little) with this post, but I was very excited when it came in. Paul I'm not sure What the best miles/watt record is but it would be fun to Google it.
Hello Mike, What a great achievement. Maybe your indoor antenna's are much better than anyone would think. hi The next step is 100 mW. In that case more than 100 miles will do for more than 1000 MPW. Congrats on the beautiful Award. 73, 72, Bert PA1B
Great stuff ! thats what I like to see and it just goes to prove what can be achieved - believe it or not because of the design of our house we have little or no Attic space at all, only in one small section can I get up in there and I reckon I "Might" get a 15m dipole up there - failing that perhaps a loop.

Fantastic Mike, I might use 100w, but if I can turn the whick down then I do, it's a real buzz still making the trip !
What's the best miles/watt record, do you know ?
73 Paul.
Congratulations Michael !

good evening Peter and Bert, yes the attic antenna does seem to do a decent job. Peter a loop my get you on more bands that just 15 meters.
Congratulations !! Half a watt!!!!
It doesn't get any better with a simple wire antenna!
Thanks very much and yes the antenna did a fine job and I was sure surprised with the results.
Congratulations Mike. Very impressive score running half a watt and with a simple wire antenna.
