Not really sure how it happened but it did and eventually found it and got back into the action.
73,
Mike
VE9KK VE9KK https://www.blogger.com/profile/04720839744779758420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2968254002071870786.post-41337234362377612042020-06-02T09:39:09.788-04:002020-06-02T09:39:09.788-04:00Hello Mike, I did the same thing recently while us...Hello Mike, I did the same thing recently while using the mcHF. Evidently, with one of the mods I've been doing, I inadvertently enabled RIT and was transmitting a few kHz away from my rx freq. It took me a bit longer than 15 minutes to figure out what I'd done (but I won't say how long!).

73 - JohnJohn AE5Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06884676867006975179noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2968254002071870786.post-53094118993406563462020-06-01T18:28:30.530-04:002020-06-01T18:28:30.530-04:00Very nice radio the 7300, I found the issue out of...Very nice radio the 7300, I found the issue out of the corner of my eye as I was looking at the screen and it jumped out at me.
Have a great rest of the week David.
73,
Mike
VE9kk VE9KK https://www.blogger.com/profile/04720839744779758420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2968254002071870786.post-10512601283458894642020-06-01T15:58:15.866-04:002020-06-01T15:58:15.866-04:00I've got a 7600 and while I thought it was an ...I've got a 7600 and while I thought it was an Icom I wasn't sure. The filter was set to 250 for contesting as stations are very close and I have to narrow things down. But that would not affect anyone hearing me as it the filter is just for receive.
Thanks for leaving a comment Paul have a great week.
Mike
VE9KK VE9KK https://www.blogger.com/profile/04720839744779758420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2968254002071870786.post-67634160040430236432020-06-01T15:15:28.755-04:002020-06-01T15:15:28.755-04:00Good afternoon David and thanks for taking the tim...Good afternoon David and thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, the rig is the Icom 7610 and yes the XIT or delta-TX is on! I was transmitting 1KC above the receive frequency and I have NEVER used the RIT/XIT ever on a radio but for some reason it was on and screwing with me. It took me about 15 minutes to clue in.
Thanks for checking out the blog and you were right on with your guess.
73,
Mike
VE9KK VE9KK https://www.blogger.com/profile/04720839744779758420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2968254002071870786.post-31609499556121024342020-06-01T08:49:10.724-04:002020-06-01T08:49:10.724-04:00Listening on 044.5 and xmitting on 045.5 with a ba...Listening on 044.5 and xmitting on 045.5 with a bandwidth of 250hz?
